We took an early ferry from El Puerto de Santa Maria to Cadiz and had breakfast at
Las Nieves which was an ideal place, it was recommended in the Lonely Planet Guide. We then did the
Museum of Cadiz, where we spent a good hour viewing all the exhibits. After this we started the coastal walk around Cadiz calling in
Baluarte de la Candelaria, then the
Castle of Santa Catalina.

After this we made our way to the
Roman Theatre, followed by
Cadiz Cathedral including the tower.

And another view, the bell only rang once when we were up there |
By which time we had seen enough so we got the ferry back to El Puerto de Santa Maria. Cadiz is a very nice compact city with lots to see.
