Did a nice walk today up into Valle Secreto. There were 5 people and 5 dogs. We started the walk on a forest track below the Sierra de San Jorge range of mountains and walked on the flat track for about 20 minutes before ascending up a very steep path going passed a cave and a climbing wall. After this the path ran out and we followed goat tracks below the top of the hill until we came round into our secret valley.

The way out of the valley was a bit difficult as the path disappeared and we ended up on goat tracks again, walking across very difficult ground until we reached a ridge which took us down to the track between Sierra de San Jorge and Sierra Gorda. We followed this track down back to the cars. The 5 dogs had a great time but 2 of them disappeared in the secret valley (Scoobie & her friend Stan) and we were getting a bit worried about them until we found them back at the cars. It was a lovely walk lasting just over 3 hours.
