Wednesday 13th January
This week's walk will be up to the top of Pico Vilo in Alfarnate and back. It will take about 3 hours, 2 hours gradual uphill, and you will be rewarded with fantastic views from the top (if it is a clear day you can see Africa). Meet at the old football pitch in Alfarnate at 10:30, there are no refreshments on this walk, so you will need to bring your own water and snacks. It is dog-friendly unless they chase goats, so Scoobie will be on her lead for this one. Please let us know if you will be joining us or if you need directions to Alfarnate.
Wednesday 20th January
WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WALK DUE TO PRIOR COMMITMENTS. We will, however, be doing a walk on Thursday 21st from the swimming pool in Villanueva de Tapia along tracks to Bar Los Caminos for refreshments (if open, otherwise next one down on a333 near BP garage) then back along road and tracks to Tapia. This walk takes about 3 hours mostly on tracks but with some road walking. Meet at the swimming pool in Tapia at 10:30.Labels: walks
